Mission Statement
The mission of KAEC is to provide a learning environment that re-educates students in an environment of respect and trust. With the support of parents and community stakeholders, KAEC staff will empower and nurture students academically, socially and emotionally. Every student will be inspired and challenged to develop the skills necessary to function effectively within the academic setting and in their community to promote self-advocacy and lifelong learning.
What a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and parent night we had at KAEC. A BIG thank you to WalMart of Walker Springs for providing, cooking and serving our grreat meal. We served almost 150 people. We were glad to see the parents come and meet with the teachers. We are fortunate that the staff a KAEC know all the parents and we enjoy working in partnership with parents to educate their child. Remember parents feel free to call us with any questions or concerns you may have.
The winter holiday is almost here which means that high school students are getting ready to take their End of Course tests. These are important state and local tests that count for 25% of their final grade. Please help your high school student take advantage of the support that is available to them to help them do well.
