The mission of KAEC is to provide a learning environment that re-educates students in an environment of respect and trust. With the support of parents and community stakeholders, KAEC staff will empower and nurture students academically, socially and emotionally. Every student will be inspired and challenged to develop the skills necessary to function effectively within the academic setting and in their community to promote self-advocacy and lifelong learning.
Retirement Notice
The staff at KAEC is planning a Big Retirement Celebration. Three of our faculty members will be leaving us after many years of dedication to the students and staff of Knox Co Schools. We would like for you to join us in the celebration on May 21, 2013 from 4:30-6:00 at KAEC in the cafeteria. We hope to see you there!
