Ms. Brandee Easterly

Ms. Easterly has been a dedicated educator and leader for more than two decades. She earned her Education Specialist degree from Tennessee Technological University in 2007 and also holds a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Ms. Easterly began her teaching career in 2005 as a 5th/6th-grade special education teacher at North Middle School. She then served as the district Gifted Coordinator for Loudon County Schools. Her transition into administration began in 2017 when she became the Assistant Principal at Maryville Junior High School. In 2019, she became the Principal of John Sevier Elementary School, also in Maryville, Tennessee. After moving to Knox County Schools, Ms. Easterly served as the Assistant Principal at Karns Elementary.

She currently works as a district-wide Special Education Facilitator for K–8 Satellite Classrooms and as the K–8 Special Education Facilitator and Program Coordinator at the Knox Adaptive Education Center.

Dr. Tammy Potter

Dr. Tammy Potter has been a dedicated educator and leader in the field of education for over two decades. She earned her Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University in 2019, following an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University in 2012. Dr. Potter also holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Tennessee (2001) and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Tusculum University (1994).

Dr. Potter began her teaching career in 2001 as a Special Educator at Clinton High School in Anderson County, followed by serving as a Special Education Satellite Teacher at West High School in 2008. During her tenure at West High School, Dr. Potter served in other leadership roles as the Special Education Department Chair (2012-2015) and TEAM Lead Teacher (2012-2015). In 2015, she began teaching at Gibbs High School and served as the Special Education Department Chair and TEAM Lead Teacher until 2021. She also served for one year as the Instructional Coach at Gibbs High School from 2021-2022. Her transition into administration began in 2022 when she became the KAEC Elementary/Middle School Program and Satellite Facilitator (2022-2024). She became the KAEC High School Program and Satellite Facilitator in 2023, where she continues to lead with a focus on students’ social and emotional well-being, academic success, and fostering a therapeutic learning environment for all.
